LA Laker star player Lamar Odom and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian finally tied the knot and married in Beverly Hills this Sunday after only a month long relationship.
Kardashian wore a Vera Wang gown to compliment her stunning engagement ring. The bridal party wore lavender outfits and carried magical bouquets of white roses.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian recently took to her blog to show off photos of herself trying on her mother’s (Kris Jenner) old wedding gowns. The photo shoot was her way of cheering up her mom, since younger sis Khloe Kardashian called the dress (which Jenner wore to marry first husband Robert Kardashian) “ugly” while they were taping the wedding special for the family’s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“It was a perfect fit,” Kim blogged. “I did look like Little Bo Peep, but it was pretty special. I then tried on my mom’s dress she wore when she married Bruce. It’s sooo 90s hahaha.”
Ivanka ‘Diamonds‘ Trump made a fresh statement when she married Jared Kushner, wearing a lace Vera Wang wedding dress with sleeves.
Trump’s dress has already inspired brides-to-be who have been opting for strapless dresses for years. “Nothing would make me happier,” Wang has said about the potential of a sleeve trend. “I’ve been doing strapless dresses for 15 years. It’s tiring.”

Last month, it was Oscar time yet again. The one night in the year where celebrities never wear their own clothes, instead being fought over by some of the worlds leading designers who literally pay to give their clothes away in the hope of a photo opportunity with a big name celebrity. Alongside the stunning gowns, shoes and accesories, journalists always look out for the most sparkling, expensive and outragous jewelry.
This year was no different, our winner of the night was an incredible rough and polished diamond sautoir necklace designed by L’Wren Scott and worn by Nicole Kidman.
The wonderful piece of jewelty was worn throughout the evening by Kidman as she was one of the leading event hosts for the night. The necklace contained over 7500 gems (7645 to be precise) including a range of rough, faceted, and polished diamonds. The creator estimated the total weight of the diamonds was just under an amazing 1400 carats. The incredible design and structure needed over 6200 man hours to complete.
What can we say apart from lucky lucky Nicole. However I’m sure she was heartbroken enough (and so punished enough) to have to hand back the necklace at the end of the evening.
An amazing story came to light last week about desire, passion, romance and unity. Generally people see diamonds in a focused light, they’re can be cold and hard, but precious and valuable. The story begins with 13 women of Jewelia who each were unable to afford a 15-carat diamond necklace on their own so they each contributed $1,200 into the kitty and bought it together just like a time-share.
The agreement is that for the investment, each woman has the necklace for 28 days a year, crazy ? maybe…
They named the necklace “Jewelia” in honor of Julia Child, the famous TV chef, who lived in a retirement home not far from the women’s hometown of Ventura, Calif. crazy, yes i think so, but then at least for 28 days in the year each women gets to feel like a celebrity!
