If you followed the UK version of Big Brother, no doubt you would have heard of Danielle Lloyd. The busty fashion model and celebrity Big Brother participant, was spotted in an Essex night club in north east London wearing what might have been an engagement ring. Apparently Lloyd is dating British muscleman David Macintosh.

Here’s an original idea for a diamond ring…a company in Switzerland makes artificial diamonds out of the ashes of the deceased. The strange business has clients from all sections of society. The ashes are sorted so that the calcium and potassium are separated from the carbon, of which diamonds are made. To create a diamond, the carbon is placed under immense pressure and heated to 1700 degrees centigrade. First graphite is created, and then the application of more pressure and heat result in the creation of a diamond.
The diamonds are then cut for diamond rings or pendants, and presumably also diamond earrings.

Sotheby’s high-end “Important Jewels Antique and Contemporary” auction on July 22 has some extraordinary items on offer.
The center piece is an IF pear shaped diamond ring, weighing 5.20 carats. The diamond ring might be sold for as much as $239,000.
There is also a pair of stud diamond earrings worth around $160,000. The earrings each have a diamond weighing just over 3 carats.
The auction will take place in London.
