Salma Hayek married for the second time at a star studdied party in Venice. Having signed their marriage certification papers on Valentine’s Day in Paris, Hayek and her French billionaire fiance (now husband) François-Henri Pinault exchanged vows at the stunning La Fenice opera house. Amonst the celebrities present were; Penelope Cruz, Edward Norton, and ex-French President Jaques Chirac. Over 150 other guests, friends and family shared the day with the happy couple.
There had been recent reports that the couple – who have a young 2 year old daughter together had reunited after they had called off their original engagement in 2008. Sporting stunning engagement rings from this and her previous engagement to the same man, Hayek is said to have looked like a Parisian Princess.
Celebrants kicked off the weekend with a masked ball at a 15-century Venetian palace that Pinault’s father had rented from the city. “I think a wedding is about love, friends, family and fun,” Salma said after the happy event.
