Diamond Color – The 4 C’s
Diamond color is based on matching a diamond against a set of diamond color stones called “master” stones. The colors of the master stones (usually quartz) start range from colorless (best quality) to slightly yellowish followed by diamonds that are clearly yellow and brown diamonds. The diamond color chart starts with “D” for a colorless diamond, followed by E,F,G (slight yellowish tint) and H, I and J that are clearly yellowish.
