We have been married for 5 years now. We met during hurricane Katrina when I came to help with relief. He is a native of Mississippi and I’m from South Carolina. It was love a first sight! I left my family and moved to MS to marry him. We could not afford a wedding so were married at the court house. But we were able to afford nice rings for one another.
